Birthday(s) Weekend

Both my mom and niece celebrated their birthdays this weekend - in very different ways, mind you!

I called my mom Saturday morning (her birthday) to ask her a question and completely forgot to say "Happy Birthday!" so I picked up some flowers and dropped them by to say "Happy Birthday!" Good save, right?

My middle niece was helping the younger one smile. :-)

Josh may have won, but he stepped in dog poo in the process, so CeCe had the real victory!

Then it was time for birthday cake...

So, the next day was a much more, um, innocent day, as we celebrated my niece's 9th birthday.

Josh couldn't stop buying for her, so we did "9 Gifts For Our Favorite 9 Year Old."

I was about to beat all those other kids who kept taking things out of her gift bag, especially when they started yelling, "THERE ARE 10 OF THEM!!!!"
