Product Review: Auntie's Beads
Beads, beads & more beads. I could spend my entire paycheck on beads if I could get away with it (although my mortgage company probably wouldn't be too happy.) So imagine how excited I was to be able to expand beyond the chain stores and two local bead boutiques that I normally shop at and pick some beads from Auntie's Beads.
They have a ton of beads in all of their categories. I was straight up overwhelmed with where to even begin. I am a browser. I can walk up and down the same aisle 52 times before I pick one thing. BUT, I finally made a decision, and my beads were on their way.
The shipping was super quick, and I had them in like 3-4 days, right before Christmas, too. *Gasp*, the postal service actually delivered my package!
My sister is a very earth-tones type of person, so I immediately knew I wanted to use some of what I had for her Christmas presents.
Then, it was time to make some things to list in my Etsy shop. (Although, I'm a bit of a slacker and haven't actually listed any of these in Etsy yet. I promise I will.. soon!)
Seriously, y'all, $20 at Auntie's Beads will get you a loooong way. I was able to get five large turquoise pieces (like the first one shown), a long strand of the teal pearl beads, a long strand of the irridescent colored beads, a strand of the brown stone beads (like the last picture), and a few other things for just twenty smack-a-roos. So if you're into beading at all (or if you want me to make you something with some beads you find on the site [shameless plug... whaaat?]) go ch-ch-check it out.

My sister and I used to make jewelry all the time! I probably don't remember how anymore, but I love beads too!
