The busy is back.

I've mentioned before how much I love being busy. The winter months are hard for me because I hate being cooped up inside, and end up with more time on my hands than I know what to do with.

I'm starting to feel busy again, though. Stressed out, even. And I love it. I wouldn't change a thing.

My days are filled with work. I'm studying to get another insurance license, and I'll also be enrolling in classes to get an associate's in insurance account management (seems backwards to get a bachelor's and then an associate's, huh?). I had record sales this month, which I am oh-so-thankful for.

Outside of my main job, I've applied for another job, which would be about 16 hours a week or working from home. I should hear something by the end of the week, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have two trips scheduled for this summer, and the $$ would definitely help.

The other day my ADD kicked in and I rearranged the catch-all desk in the guest room into my crafting area. I'm amazed at how many supplies I have after I started pulling everything out. Organizational bins will most definitely be in order, but I'm excited to have a space for that outlet.

Tax time is also right around the corner, and I'm pretty sure it's going to take me a solid week to get everything together. :-(

But, before I know it, spring will be here and I can breath a sigh of relief. In fact, the other day my mom and I were calculating exactly how much more time before we would be able to lay out in the yard (less than 2 months!) and eventually the beach (hopefully less than 3). There will be a lot of gardening to do (and someone is going to have to teach me how to work the lawn mower...), reading outside, laying on the beach, walks to the pier for ice cream, and surfing.

If I can stay busy until then, bring it on.

Oh, and today is the best Tuesday ever. Just sayin'.

  2. I am with you, I'd much rather be busy than bored! I hope those flowers were a 'sorry for locking you out of the bedroom in the middle of the night so you had to talk to the weird guy trying to get laid out in the living room!' LOL
