Yuck.

My ear has been giving me trouble for the past week and a half or so. I finally bit the bullet and went to the doctor today. $200 later, I now have a stomach full of peroxide/water mixture (can you say tummy ache?), gooey ear drops to use, and I'm pretty sure I can feel the wind coming in my newly cleaned ears... all for a lousy ear infection. :-(

Have you ever had your ears flushed? Believe me, it sounds fun. It's not. Avoid it at all costs.

My doctor even asked me today if my outfit was for school or if it was a normal outfit? K, 1. I'm not in school anymore - 24, hello... and 2. I didn't think my outfit was that bad.

I also had to lay down on a table, on my side, with my arms over my head. Can you say "flash"? The doc even apologized because he saw how uncomfortable I was with my skirt hiked so high up. Thankfully, my black tights saved the day.

If you've ever had that much water in your ears that fast, you know how bad it messes with your balance. I'm lucky I'm able to walk down the hall without hitting the wall about five times in the process. In fact, I'm not even sure that this post makes much sense.

My head has been in a cloud all day. I haven't gotten the first thing done at work. Wait, I lie - I was able to send one fax. I earned my paycheck today! :-)

Now, I'm off to enjoy a few Christmas cocktails and then play our first kickball game of the season... if I'm able to run to first base, I'll be a lucky girl.
