TGIF & Fill in the Blank Friday!
Life Lesson of the Week: Don't wait until 11:30pm to take your allergy medicine because you think it will last longer. It's going to make you drowsy for approximately 11 hours, and waking up at 7:30am is not going to feel so good. You will be wandering around in zombie land until about 10:30, when you're a work and can't remember what you did for the last hour and a half.
Best Thing I Read This Week: "The grass on your side is good too. Maybe it's a little patchy and weedy in spots, but then again, that's just because you're out having a life instead of spending every spare moment manicuring your lawn. It may not be perfect, but it's yours :)." Compliments of Lauren, who also brings us Fill in the Blank Friday!
1. The strangest thing I've ever eaten is alligator soup when I was 3.
2. I wouldn't be caught dead in mom jeans. Please Lord, keep my mind sharp enough to never find them attractive.
3. When I am 75 I will... have lots of successful children, many many grandchildren, a house by the beach, and lots of money to travel with.
4. If I had to be named after a place I would want to be named Austin. I think it's a pretty name for a girl. I would've picked Caroline, but living in SC, I hear that name way too often. I'm sure if I lived in Texas, I wouldn't pick Austin.
5. My name is Hilary. It was the only name my parents could agree on. My middle name is Lane after my dad & grandfather's middle names. Everyone on my dad's side of the family has an "L" middle name. I was almost a Shaina, Brianna or Kristen. I'm happy with Hilary.
6. My all time favorite photo is a photo I posted last week of my mom & I when I was a wee tot.
7. If I could afford it I would pay off the debt for everyone in my family. How awesome would that be. There's no better freeing feeling than being debt free.

Alligator soup?! Hmm, Not sure I'd try that if it was offered to me.
ReplyDeleteI like Hilary too out of those choices-good job mom & dad! My sis was an only child for 8 years so my parents let her name me...she named me after her best friend at the time!
ReplyDeleteLove your last comment! I would do the same thing :0
ReplyDeleteAlligator soup at three years old? Wow! You were a daring little girl! I love your blog, I'm your newest follower! Please follow me back @ www.romanianprincess.com
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicole Mariana
I cannot believe you had alligator soup when you were three! Have you decided that once was enough, or did you think of having it again?
