Manic Monday.

Things That Made Me Happy Today:

• Shopping for game socks with a teammate
• Waking up without a sinus headache (even though I had to use the 2nd to last of my expensive allergy medicine to get there)
• Coffee (without it, I would still be half asleep from aforementioned medicine)
• An eye doctor appointment (I got to see a friend & get new contacts so that I can actually see the softball flying at my face and read road signs without squinting)
• Free lunch (yay for marketing reps and their expense accounts)
• That I was able to see Hilary this weekend
• Dying my new softball socks purple & orange

I started this post at 10:00 this morning. Things have just been abso-freaking-lutely crazy around here. I left work early, even though I had a huuuuge pile of stuff to do on my desk. Went to the eye doctor. Found out I was even more blind than I thought. Left the eye doctor to meet a teammate on the hunt for purple & orange socks. Couldn't find purple & orange socks. Decided to make my own, using black & white zebra & polka dotted socks. Had to track down orange & purple dye. Realized that each batch takes approximately 7 years to make. So it's now almost 10:30pm and I still have socks dying in the sink. 

And I'll finish those up, go to bed, and have an equally as busy day tomorrow.

My Reader count is at 736!! I'm feel like such a slacker, but there just aren't enough hours in the day! So, hang in there with me... if you get comments on posts that are like a month old, it's because I promise I do read every post - I'm just a little behind.

We have our first softball game tomorrow. And I got a little surprise this weekend when I found out a "friend" (You know the kind. The kind that you may or may not have dated in the past, but there was never any clear cut definition of what you were. And well, you're obviously not interested now, but living in the same town your entire life means you can't escape these people? Wait? Am I the only one that has this kind of "friend" in their lives?) is going to be playing softball in my league. A friend who is now playing after they found out that I was playing. Co-inky-dink? Possibly. But probably not.

Okay, I know I'm rambling at this point. And I still have those darn purple socks that I have to go get out of the dye. I'll be back soon with something interesting to say.. I hope!
