TGIF & Fill in the Blank Friday!

1. One song that always takes me back to my youth "Taking Care of Business." I knew every word to the song by the time I was 7. I would drop everything I was doing to belt out this song everytime it came on.
2. My first concert ever DC Talk. My parents took me to a concert in the park when I was 3. In fact, we're all going to see TobyMac next month - super excited!
3. If I could create my dream music festival I'd want these bands to be there: Bedouin Soundclash, The Spin Doctors, Tonic, Hanson, Mute Math, 90's Third Eye Blind, Kate Voegele, Gavin Mikhail, The Used, Lady Antebellum, The Fray, John Mayer, Bob Marley, Julianne Hough, Darius Rucker - random much?
4. The best make-out/"boot knocking" song ever is uhhh... can I pass on this one? I have no idea.
5. The best concert I've ever been to was during my senior year of high school. No one knew who The Academy Is (they were "The Academy" at the time), the Early November, and Fall Out Boy were yet, and they opened for Less Than Jake. I went with my two best friends & had a blast. I saw TAI, the Early November and Fall Out Boy a couple more times, but they had caught on in the pop scene and it just wasn't as fun.
6. A memorable musical moment for me was Hanson came to town when I was in the 6th grade. They were playing on my mom's birthday, and I hadn't planned to go. Around 3:00 that day, my friends called me to tell me they were going if I wanted to go. My mom was pretty disappointed that I wanted to spend her birthday with someone else, but I was in the 6th grade (aka. I only cared about Hanson). I scraped together every last penny out of my piggy bank, because my mom refused to pay for it, but had enough to go. The concert was great. I'm pretty glad I went. But, sorry for ruining your birthday, Mom! It was Hanson! (Not really a good excuse, is it?)
7. The song on my iPod that's getting the most play these days is sadly, I don't listen to my iPod much anymore. Most of the time, my Slacker station is on "Indie Hits".

Now that I've run out of ways to procrastinate, I need to go call that new wife of the old "boyfriend" that I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in reference to Awkwardtown. Apparently he's bought a motorcycle and I get to find out all the details to insure it. Someone shoot me, please.

Now, go on over to Lauren's & get your FITB, Friday on!
