Who forgets to buy their spouse a card on their very first wedding anniversary?
Who cooks their spouse dinner, picks out the movie they've been dying to see, and surprises them at home after a long day of work, and then forgets to buy a flipping card?
Who forgets to buy a card after the couple has decided that in order to save money, they wouldn't be buying anniversary gifts this year?
Who had two days off work while their spouse slaved away to go buy a card and still forgot?
Who didn't remember until they saw their spouse hiding in the card signing a card that they'd forgotten to get one?
Who tried to rush around grabbing computer paper and fake pink foam hearts to attempt to throw together a card before giving up and throwing everything in the floor?
Who is the worst spouse ever?
Me. That's who.
Seriously, who forgets to buy their husband a card on their wedding anniversary?
Thankfully, he's a guy, and he swears he could care less, and that he bought me a card because I buy cards for every occasion, so he thought I needed one.
See? That's why I love him.

Haha. My husband didn't buy me a card either...he sent flowers that had the standard card attached and apparently thought that counted. Oh well. I suppose a cheesy hallmark greeting wan't necessary anyway!

ReplyDeleteOMG! The same thing happened to us. I didn't get him a card because he never does then he got me one because I always do so then he was upset I didn't get him one. Ah! MEN!
