12 Weeks to Better Photography: Week 7

It's Tuesday, again, which means it's time for week 7 of 12 weeks to better photography that Meredith is hosting.

This week was about using the Macro setting on your camera for taking pictures up close. I'm going to be honest. My camera has a Macro setting, but 99% of the time, the Auto setting on my camera is good enough to detect close objects, making my work virtually effortless.

We just planted a hibiscus in our yard, so it presented a perfect photo op!
Hopefully, soon, I'll have a yard full of flowers to take pictures of!

And, btw, you need to head over and check out Abby's blog. She's a super sweet girl, and she just hosted an awesome giveaway. It's over now, but go check her out anyway!
