Book Review: The Gift

I don't usually do these, but I would like to start...

This one took some time for me to get into, but once I was in, it was hard to put down. I always like to read a Christmas-type book around the holidays, just because they have some really cute, short holiday reads.

The Gift was really insightful into taking time to appreciate the things you have, before you don't have that opportunity any longer. I can't really go into much detail, just because it would give away the book, but if you want a quick 2-3 night read, check it out.

Cecelia Ahern, the author, is the one who wrote P.S. I love you and is co-creator of Samantha Who? on ABC. I love most of her work. I could completely see this book being made into a Lifetime or Hallmark movie.

Next on my list:

It's been a long time since I've read a book written by a man. It wasn't intentional, I just thought about it after seeing Stein's name on the cover. Tell you the truth, the last one I read was probably Marley & Me. Something about men & dogs...

  1. I read "The Art of Racing in the Rain" a few months ago. I loved it. Enjoy!
