I received two surprises when I got in to work this morning:

1. I have to be at the HQ tomorrow morning at 8:00. It's 45 minutes away. My car is not feeling so hott. If I happen to break down (knock on wood) halfway there, I'm just going to go home and not look back.

2. My pay will be docked for two days. WTH, right? Apparently since I have used all my vacation for the year 2009, I owe the bank two days' worth of time. Basically today and tomorrow I'll be working for free. Yeah, the money that would be paying my electric bill will now be paying the bank. Douchebags. Bank policy states that you earn 3/4 of a day of vacation for every month that you're there for your first year. Which equals 10 days for 12 months. Then, after your first year, you get 10 vacation days a year. The policy doesn't say "You will earn 3/4 of a day for every month that you work." It says FOR THE FIRST YEAR. Believe me, I will be pointing it out at my Exit interview tomorrow. Along will all the other ridiculous things that that place does.

Bite me.
