Done Son.

Today was my LAST day at the bank - ever! YAY! I am so excited to be done. I had to drive to the HQ this morning for my exit interview. I was late, but I mean, so what? it's my exit interview. And every "concern" that I voiced, which is what he asked for, was met with a textbook answer. If you wanted to know what I truly thought, then you would express true concern. Thanks, a-hole. The only thing he expressed interest in is that my BM didn't mention until yesterday about my pay being docked for two days. He said that they discussed it the day I put my 2 weeks in and that she should've told me then. Oh well.

Someone asked me the other day what my most embarrassing moment was and I had no idea. I thought about it. In high school, I went through the gawky wannabe stage. Freshman & sophomore year, I went to a small, snotty Christian school. Of course the upperclassmen thought they were cool sh*t. I had just started driving and I LOVED my 92 Chrysler Lebaron convertible. Of course, at an up-ety private school, if it's not new, expensive or a jacked up truck, it's not cool. I was leaving school one day. The road that led to our parking lot was a dirt road, wide enough for 1 car. Generally traffic before and after school went one way. You never encountered a car coming the opposite direction. Until one day after school, I was leaving school when two older girls were pulling in. I tried to be nice and pull off to the side of the road to let them pass, and in the process, the wet embankment gave way, and half my car slid about a foot and a half into a ditch... just far enough that I couldn't get out. Go figure. Cue like 10 senior boys who come over to help me out. EMBARRASSING. Here I am, I think I'm pretty cool, but in their eyes, I'm an idiot. After about 15 minutes of them pushing and lifting, I was finally able to drive my car out of the ditch and be on my way, and the boys were COVERED in mud and had to go to practice. When I slid into the ditch, the two girls in the other car just started laughing & drove on. That would most definitely be my most embarrassing moment: I drove my car into a ditch in front of ALL the people that I just wanted to look cool in front of.

That's okay... five years later, one of the girls' ex-husband's asked me out, after their divorce. I'd say that's pretty sweet revenge.
