Vacay Recap

Okay, finally time for a vacation recap! I spent lots-o time laying on the beach doing absolutely nothing. 

My mother in law made me a DELICIOUS chocolate cake for my birthday! And the tequila & margarita mix that AJ got me for my birthday was much appreciated.

Our weather sucked for the first couple of days, but the sun came out & it was gorgeous for the rest of the week. I'm definitely used to the warmer water & the ocean was pretty chilly, but it felt nice after sweating like a beast, laying in the sun.

We slept. We surfed. We laid out. We ate. It was awesome.

One day, AJ's momma, sister, and I went out & about. We hit up a local arts & crafts show (which kinda sucked), checked out an amazing local diner, hit up the bead store (a ton of new beads), a local bookshelf (sweet local children's book for my sister & nieces, and the lighthouse. 

AJ got sick on Tuesday & stayed sick for most of the rest of the week. He ventured off the couch on our last day for some last minute surfing & fishing at the sound. Poor Aeej, being sick on vacation SUCKS!

All in all, it was a great vacation. There was no drama, which is more than I can say for my family's vacations!
