Say a little prayer.
I'm starting to hit the point where I realize that I'm growing up & problems you thought were HUGE are really insignificant & there are problems a lot worse in the world. It hits close to home when you have a friend on the phone, bawling because of drug dealers, family, and knife-point convenience store robberies. I mean, yeah, I worry for my safety everyday, thinking about the guy who's robbing local banks, but can you imagine being that guy's family? Who knows what drugs that guy is on. Who knows what he'd do next. And he could possibly endanger you and the rest of your family. I wish I could just get it all out there & share details, but for privacy reasons, I won't.
It breaks my heart to listen to a friend in such pain. So if you have any sort of belief system, please just say a quick prayer for a friend with a hard road ahead.
Ouch. I am so sorry for your friend! How scary.
ReplyDeleteI understand that bit about growing up. Sometimes it just hits me. And I don't really want it to.
Ugh. scary indeed. I'll say a prayer.
