Random Thoughts.

Having annual training out in the middle of flipping no where means:

1. I have 45 minutes each way to think way too much.

2. I wasted 4 hours of my life listening to something that has no meaning for my life.

* We were greeted by the president of the bank. Words were butchered. Bad. Ex: e-mail = e-may-ul

* The local university's football team was practicing when I drove by. Helloooooo, football season!

* I drove by the cemetery that a friend in high school that was killed in a car accident is buried in. It seems like a LONG time ago. Wow.

* Our main branch of the bank really is nice. Oak doors. Wood blinds. Expensive wall paper. They just remodeled our branch. No oak. No wood blinds. No expensive wall paper.

* Costa weighs 23 lbs. She gained 11 lbs in 3 weeks.

* I ranked the Friends characters: Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey, Phoebe, Ross. AJ doesn't agree.

* We had to go around the room & introduce ourselves & tell how long we've been with the bank. Here's a sample:

Joe: 24 years

Sally: 34 years

Wanda: 12 years

John: 29 years

Betty: 41 years.

41 YEARS? RETIRE ALREADY!

And this is why no one ever gets a promotion. There were 70 people in the room today. There were only about 10 there who had been with the bank for less than 10 years. And that's why working for NoNameBank sucks.

* I have never doodled the word "Penalize" more times in my life.

* Someone asked me if I am pregnant. Not to my knowledge, why? Apparently wearing a baggy shirt & drinking an iced mocha makes you pregnant? Grrrrreat.... love you, Rebecca (13 years, eeeek).

* They neighbor has two new tuxedo kittens. I'm 99% sure I'm going to confuse Trey with them.

After I FINALLY got home, I went with AJ to the beach, while he surfed. I ended up smack dab in the middle of two families: one in tie-dye, one dressed head to toe in white... taking family pictures. Really? Can you be any more cliche? Shoot me, please. It's okay, tourist season is winding down, if I can just survive a couple more weeks...
