Inside the Kitchen
Inspired by Mrs. Newlywed's "Inside the Kitchen" post, I'm posting my own version of our kitchen must-have's. There are things that we all keep in our kitchen that are necessities. I think a person's kitchen contents say a lot about them. Here's ours:
Cabinets:
* s'mores Pop-Tarts, I never know when I'll have to take a 1:45 lunch and it's a long time between 8:00 & 1:45
* buttered movie popcorn
* cheddar & sour cream chips
* veggie straws
* at least 4 boxes of cereal, I could eat it for every meal
* Velveeta broccoli & cheese singles
* Chef Boyardee spaghetti & meatballs
* canned corn
* canned green beans
* New England clam chowder, for those bone-chilling days
* broccoli & cheese soup, same as the chowder
* canned chicken, for getting the cat out of a tree if need be
Spices:
* our wedding gift 20 spice, spice rack
* cayenne pepper - MUST HAVE
* salt & pepper
* cinnamon, for apple sauce, mmm...
* olive oil (even the doggie gets this every once in a while)
* Worcester sauce (gotta marinate the meat)
Refrigerator/Freezer:
* skim milk
* Smart Balance
* yogurt (not everything we have is junk food)
* chocolate Snak Paks
* dill pickles, for those salt cravings
* cranberry juice, good for the yak!
* Brita pitcher full of water
* ice cream, necessity, I get cranky when I don't have access
* ranch dressing, goes with everything
* Dijonnaise - two words: simply amazing
* provolone cheese
* our wedding cake (it tempts me everyday)
* Sara Lee crustless sandwich bread (amazing, check it out)
* Michelob Ultra (fruit flavor)
* Yuengling or Red Stripe, depending on AJ's mood/what's on sale
Those are our necessities. You've probably derived that I'm addicted to sugar & junk food (most of the bad stuff is mine, AJ doesn't indulge). When my metabolism bites the dust, I'm going to be in major trouble!

We pretty much have identical cabinets. S'more poptarts = the best concoction that has ever been made.
