GAHHHHHH!

I'm trying really hard not to hate that dog right now. We have a HOUSE FULL of things for her to pick to chew on. I go to the bathroom - 3 minutes max - and I come out to find out she's chewed up a bookmark that my sister gave me eons ago. Something that meant a LOT to me. I know, I know.. don't be mad at her. She's just a puppy. Of ALL things. Why couldn't she have chewed up the library book that the bookmark was in. The couch. The cat. Seriously.

She is NOT cute right now.

  2. haha, i don't know if i would go as far as saying you're ready for children, but it most definitely takes mucho patience and hard work. i still get uber mad at the 5am wake-up calls from Sully (therefore i KNOW i am not ready for nighttime infant feedings, etcetera) but i very quickly remind myself, this is the routine i put im on and i can't blame him! i never thought raising a puppy was going to be this difficult! i grew up with multiple dogs throughout my lifetime and MAJOR kudos to my mom for raising them all! As for the chewing? I would love to say it gets better- Throughout the year Sully has moved from one or two shoes, to crown molding, to door jambs, and even wood baby gates! That bitter apple spray stuff? Yeah, don't waste your money! Haha.. Good luck.. It gets better!! :)

  3. I swear puppies were put on this earth to confuse your emotions. BAD DOG, but you're soooooooo cute.. but, BAD DOG!!

Hopefully the "naughty puppy" stage will go by fast & you'll be able to easily train without losing too many irreplacable things..

  4. I'm convinced the main reason puppies are so cute is so you don't kill them. It's a built in self defense mechanism they've perfect over the years. My dogs have it down cold.

  6. I know the feeling. My parents' puppy chewed up a water bottle that Chris gave me. I was so mad at him. But he was just a puppy. He got cute again later too. = )
