Not for the faint.

Okay, so for as long as I can remember, I've had this little "tag" (what the dermatologists call it) under my arm, near my armpit. It just this little skin colored mole type thing that just hangs out under my arm. My family has always called it my "little friend" (yes, in front of past boyfriends, too). It gets angry when I nick it with the razor. Sometimes it gets caught up in my loofah, and it gets really mad when my bra/bathing suit rubs up against it. I had finally had it with my little friend's mood swings, so while I was at the dermatologist today, I showed it to him. He said, "Can I PLEASE take it off?" Being the pansy that I am, I asked, "Will it hurt?" He kind of responded with a half laugh, half "Kinda." But I had had it with my little friend, and not even asking how much it would cost, I said, "Okay. I guess."

So, he calls his nurse to ask for the "Electric ajksdf-cater" (your guess is as good as mine). It was a pretty mean looking machine. He numbed me up (which was definitely the most painful part), and said, "Okay, you're going to hear this noise..." And then proceeded to take the oversized, electric tweezers to my little friend. I felt a little tug, heard a little sizzle, smelled a little burning flesh, and that was it. It was gone!!!! Hallelujah!

My little friend is now in sterile waste heaven, and my right side is now .00001 ounce lighter. Thank you, Mr. Dermatologist-man!

Little friend's removal cost $190 and I'm not sure if my insurance company will cover it or not, but it was a small price to pay.
