Coming to you...

From the comfort of my brand new office/computer!

Y'all, this computer is seriously gigantic. I'm pretty sure they messed up and sent a TV screen in place of the computer! Even cooler? We had an extra monitor, and our IT guy decided that it would be cool to hook me up with two monitors. I was skeptical at first, but I looooove it. Oooh, and my computer is touch screen. Whhhaaa?

It even has a built in webcam!! Too bad I can't leave it on all the time so I can see who sneaks up behind me!!

Ignore the awful blue carpet/yucky walls/boring trim combo - apparently no once consulted anyone with taste before decorating this place! All that crap on the left belongs to my co-worker who hasn't completely moved out yet, and I realize that my Clemson football sketch 1. doesn't look right in a girl's office and 2. looks oddly out of place on that giant wall.

As soon as my brawny boyfriend (yes, I just called him brawny) can get some time off work, I'm going to rearrange a bit. I'll be moving my monstrosity of a desk to the other side of the room (where the Clemson art is now), which will having me facing the door instead of having my back to it. Then as soon as pay day rolls around, I need to go find some new art work/decor. My previous office was about a third of the size and housed the supply cabinet/mail prep table/etc., so what decor I do have is teeny tiny. It all looks extremely out of place in this big office!

So far I'm enjoying my new position. It's stressful, as I have a lot more client work than I used to have, but it's so nice to spend the last 15 minutes of the day doing a blog post instead of frantically trying to get the mail together for the day. Oh, and phone calls? I've only had 5 or so today instead of answering the phone every 5 minutes. I'm excited about the opportunity I have to make more money - hello more commission opportunities! - and to spend more time on this end of the business before it's time to step back/up and take over.
